Adam Konstantinos

Physicist

Konstantinos Adam graduated from the Physics department of the School of Exact Sciences of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (A.U.Th.). He received his Research M.Sc. in Theoretical Physics from Utrecht University, in the Netherlands, where he worked in the applications of quantum field theory in cold dense matter. He is active in private higher education, teaching Physics and Mathematics to students in College as well as to students of various schools of Exact Sciences and various departments of the Polytechnic School.

Afendouli Panagiota

Neuropsychologist, scientific associate of Hygeia Hospital

Afentouli Panagiota holds a BSc in Psychology from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and two MScs, the first in Media Psychology from Panteion University of Athens and the second in Clinical Neuroscience obtained from the Institute of Neurology, University College of London. She gained her clinical experience working with patients suffering from epilepsy and other neurodegenerative disorders at the National Hospital of London (NHNN). Since 2008, she is a scientific associate of “Hygeia” Hospital. She works in private practice with patients suffering from neurocognitive disorders and offers rehabilitation treatments. She is a member of the SEPS, while holding an active role in clinical research and a variety of scientific publications. Research interests: neurodegenerative and neurodegenerative disorders

Dr.Akis Kechagia

Dr Akis Kechagias is a Senior Fellow of the British Higher Education Academy (HEA). He graduated with a first-class degree in Linguistics from the department of Philology, School of Philosophy at University of Ioannina. He completed his doctoral and master’s studies in University College London (UCL), Division of Psychology and Language Sciences with funding by the Hellenic Scholarship Foundation (IKY) and the Onassis Foundation. He has an extensive experience of teaching at various institutions across England (UCL, University of Westminster, Queen Mary—University of London, University of Hertfordshire) and he has held various external examiner roles for the British Open University and the University of Hertfordshire. For the last nine years up until September 2021—when he joined the Mediterranean College—he taught on undergraduate and postgraduate courses in English Language, Linguistics and TESOL at the University of Salford, in Manchester, UK, programmes which he intermittently led, while he also developed new multi-disciplinary undergraduate programmes such as BSc (Hons) Psychology with English Language. Research-wise, Akis works within the broad context of Theoretical and Applied linguistics. His research revolves mostly around the structural properties of natural language and grammatical theory, the relation between different linguistic subsystems (particularly the syntax-morphology interface), as well as the relation between language structure and language-external systems such as cognition and information structure. He also has a keen interest in psycholinguistics (especially in the relation between linguistic knowledge and parsing), language acquisition (especially the acquisition of syntax and discourse functions in L1 and L2) and quantitative methods in Linguistics. Akis has successfully supervised PhD students working on various projects.Since June 2022 he is the Head of the School of Education at MC Athens.  

Dr. Anastasopoulos George

Dr. George Anastasopoulos is a Mechanical Engineer. A graduate of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Patras, he holds a PhD from the same University. Currently a Tutor in the MSc/ MEng Programme at the MC School of Engineering-University of Derby he has taught in several Higher Education Institutions (University of Patras as a Laboratory Associate, and as Lecturer at the School of Engineering, University of Peloponese, TEI Stereas Elladas, and ASPAITE) and in Professional and Vocational Education. He works as a consultant in the private sector and in the industry as project manager and energy expert. He has participated in national and international research projects in the area of monitoring of structural integrity and in the field of energy management and eco-design. He has 27 scientific publications in scientific journals and in national and international conferences. He is a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece (TEE-TCG) and the Hellenic Society of Mechanical and Electrical Engineers (PSDMH).

Dr. Angouras Vassilis

Vassilis Angouras studied Political Science and Public Administration in the University of Athens and holds a Ph.D. and a Master of Science in Social Science from the University of Edinburgh plus an executive Master in Healthcare Administration from the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers of Paris. Since 1995 he has worked in various positions in the private and public healthcare sector in Greece either as a business consultant, either as a business unit manager or as head of hospital. Over the years he has headed four NHS hospitals and now serves as a special advisor to the Minister of Health. Outside the healthcare sector, he has also worked for the Hellenic National Telecommunications and Postal commission. Teaches: Health systems management.

Dr. Apostolouda Vasiliki

Vasiliki Apostolouda holds a Bachelor degree in Linguistics from the School of Philology of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and a Master degree in Applied Linguistics from the same department. She currently completed her Ph.D. at the Department of Theoretical and Applied Linguistics of the School of Philology (A.U.Th.; 2018). During her postgraduate studies, she received scholarships from Erasmus Program for studies and research in universities of France.Her research interests lie mainly in the fields of phonology, psycholinguistics and language acquisition. Part of her research activity has been presented in international conferences and workshops. In the past she has worked as a researcher at the Project Education of Foreign and Repatriated Students at the School of Philology of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and shehas taught Greek as a Second Language. At present, she is working as a lecturer at the Department of Speech & Language Therapy of Mediterranean College.

Arampatzi Angeliki

Computer Scientist

Angeliki Arampatzi received his Master in Computer Science (MSc) from the University of Macedonia (UoM) following the Computer Systems and Networks Technologies profile. Her bachelor degree is in Computer Science from University of Macedonia following the Technology Management direction of study. Always working in teams, her professional experience started as a laboratory assistant at the University of Macedonia, continued with the management of an e-shop of a Greek company, then gained experience in sales and technical support working for MLS and now works as an IT teacher.

Arvaniti Giota

BA, MA – Clinical Psychologist

Giota Arvaniti is a clinical psychologist, graduate from Panteion University with an MA in Clinical psychology from the University of Athens. She has completed her training in Psychodrama and EMDR and is working as a therapist for the last 10 years with individual clients and groups. Her clinical experience involves working with parents, children and adults, with educators and female refugees and victims of gender-based violence. Currently, and for the last two years, she is collaborating with the Greek Network of women refugees “Melissa” as a clinical psychologist and she continues her professional and therapeutic training at the Institute of Group Analysis Foulkes.

Dr. Arvanitou Elvira-Maria

Computer Scientist, Researcher

Arvanitou Elvira-Maria has a PhD in Computer Science from the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science of the University of Groningen (Netherlands). In February 2013, she finished her postgraduate studies in Information Systems at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Greece). She graduated from the Technological Education Institute of Thessaloniki with a degree in Computer Science in September 2011. She has published 10 articles in international conferences and 3 articles in journals. Her research interests are focused on reverse engineering, software maintainability, software quality management, open source software engineering and software design. Askaroglou Ioannis

As a graduate from the School of Computer Science and Telecommunications in the University of Athens, he was awarded a scholarship to complete his Masters Degree in Communication Systems and Signal Processing, in the University of Bristol (with distinction). He worked for three years as a telecommunications engineer and researcher for wireless networks, at ProVision Communications. The context of research involved the enhancement of wireless network technologies regarding video applications, the enhancement of antennas and other technical issues. Role responsibilities also involved the mentoring of postgraduate students for their dissertations in collaboration with the University of Bristol. He holds a patent (shared with Prof. Andrew Nix) titled “Antenna Assembly for a Wireless Communication Device” (WO2012004602), published on 12th January 2012. He has also been awarded a runner up position at NMI (National Microelectronics Institute of UK) as Young Engineer of the Year 2009. Back to Greece, he has been working for the last three years as a software engineer at SeaSoft – Shipping Application, for shipping applications. His interest has also focused on education, teaching students on programming, computer science and telecommunications.

Aspiotis Konstantinos

Mr. Konstantinos Aspiotis is a geologist,  a graduate of the National and Kapodistrian Univer­sity of Athens (NKUA). He completed his studies in 2013 with a specialization in Material Science and Tech­nology, from National Technical Univer­sity of Athens (NTUA), focused on the “Self-healing ce­ment mortar”. Since 2013, he is a Ph.D. candidate of NTUA, School of Chemical En­gineer­ing. His doctoral dissertation focused on the "Investigation of the parameters that affect the integra­tion of self-healing characteristics in cementitious materials". As a researcher, he has been involved in numerous research projects, dealing with industrial minerals, materi­als science, smart materials (self-healing and self-cleaning cementitious materials), modeling pro­cess, soil and rock mechanics and in the petroleum industry. He teaches the modules Geology and Soil Mechanics and Geotechnics in the MEng(HONS) Civil Engineering & Construction programme at Mediterranean College.

Benekou Αnastasia

Psychologist – CBT Psychotherapist

Anastasia Benekou – Adjunct Tutor at the Undergraduate School of Education (BA) at Mediterranean College. Anastasia holds a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Kent in Canterbury and she was awarded the Chevening Scholarship for the year 2019 -2020 from the UK Government in collaboration with the John Latsis Public Benefit Foundation. She  earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the Aristoteleion University in Thessaloniki and her master’s degree in Counselling Studies (Msc) from the University of Edinburgh. She is also an accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist from the Greek Association of Behavioural Research in Thessaloniki. She has a combined background as a therapist and also in management positions both in the private and public sector in Greece. She has worked at the Greek Alzheimer’s Association as a psychologist and in various NGOs in Greece both as a therapist but also as country director, assisting in the psychosocial support, education and holistic integration of the refugees in Greece.

Benetou Vivian

Vivian Benetou is an Architect Engineer, a graduate of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and an MBA holder from the University of Macedonia. She has collaborated with several Architectural and Construction companies and worked as Project Manager in complex construction projects such as hotels, restaurants, retail shops, offices and residences across Greece. She is as a freelance Architect engineer specializing in concept and retail Identity design of private firm spaces.  Since 2011 she is an accredited lecturer at Mediterranean College School of Engineering. Her current research interests include Project Management Techniques and their implementation in medium size construction projects.

Berberis Alexandros

Programme Leader of School of Computing, Mathematician with MSc in Informatics and Management

Alexandros Berberis received his BSc in Mathematics (AUTh), his MSc in Computer Science, an interfaculty postgraduate programme in «Informatics and Management» (AUTh). He contains certificate of practical training in Computerized Accounting. He has worked at Informatics Department (AUTh) as a research associate in EU projects SAFEYOU+ (Collaborative Partnership) and ONLINE S3 (H2020), active participant in proposal drafting at several EU funded projects, supporting different tasks and various academic activities. Mr. Bilios is a senior executive with years of experience in the public and private sectors in Greece and abroad. He has worked as a Strategic and Communication Advisor, Digital Marketing Strategies and Corporate Projects, designing and formulating campaign strategies for companies such as Saatchi & Saatchi (London), The Newtons Laboratory (Greece) and others. Bolonasi Elena

Elena Bolonasi is an Attorney at Law (Athens Bar Association) - Criminologist, a graduate of the Law Department of the National Kapodistrian University of Athens, with postgraduate studies in Forensic Psychology (Università di Novedrate) and training specialization certificate in Forensic - Psychiatric Forensic Psychology (EKPA). She has also graduated from the Department of Greek Philology of the National Kapodistrian University of Athens. At the same time, she studied music. She teaches "Criminology", "Investigation", "Criminal Law", "Intellectual Property and Related Rights" and "Juvenile Law" at the Private Investigations Department of Κ.D.V.M. She has worked as a crime and media reporter, and as a cultural content columnist in collaboration with popular websites. As an English teacher, she has worked in Foreign Language Teaching Centers. She has been honored by the Greek Association of Screenwriters with 1st and 3rd Prize for her screenplays and by the Panhellenic Union of Writers for the crime novel "The Hill of Hernion", published by "24grammata".  

Bozas Antonis

Antonis Bozas holds a BSc in Psychology from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and a master’s degree in Pain Management and Medical Psychology from the Medical School of Ioannina University. He is a PhD candidate at the Medical School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in the field of Pediatric Psychology - Psychosomatics. He has been certified in use of psycho-diagnostic tools and has received a specialization in Clinical Mental Health from the First Department of Psychiatry - Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He is trained in Cognitive Analytic Psychotherapy, in Life Long Learning and Primary Healthcare. He was a member of the scientific team in the standardization project of the WAIS-IV scale. He has worked in various contexts such as a psychologist in schools, in the Department of Maxillofacial Surgery of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, as a scientific associate of the First Department of Psychiatry - Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Now he is working in the International Organization for Migration and he is the psychologist of the Center for Talented Youth at Anatolia College (Johns Hopkins University). His research interests are focused on health psychology, positive health psychology, applied psychotherapy and psycho-diagnostics. He is participating in national and international conferences and has published articles in scientific journals. Christoforidis Charalampos

Charalampos Christoforidis has a degree in International & European Studies from University of Macedonia and an MSc in Accounting & Business from Aston University. He works as Transportation & Distribution Supervisor at Olympic Brewery. Christou Phoebe

Phoebe Christou holds a Bachelor degree in Psychology. Since 2013 she holds a Master in Social Clinical Psychology (MSc) from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, and was trained in Cognitive Behaviour Approach. She is also trained in Eating Disorders and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in the Greek Association of Behavioral Research and Therapy in Thessaloniki. Since October 2017, she is trainee psychotherapist in Systematic Family therapy at Institute of Systemic Thinking and Psychotherapy. She has been working as a psychologist in several mental health institutions, both for adults and children, such as social services, hospitals, mental health centres and psychotherapy/counselling centres. She has also been teaching in many private education institutes. Currently, she is practicing psychotherapy privately and she is teaching psychology relevant courses in Mediterranean College of Thessaloniki. Moreover, she is a   speaker at international conferences and seminars, while her main field of research is eating disorders and schemata, post-traumatic stress and coping and cognitive psychotherapy.

Dagiakidis Michail

Qualified Electrical Engineer of the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) and DEA of the Paris 6 University. He worked for SAGEM as telecommunications R&D engineer. With his return in Greece he has been involved in the design and support of nationwide information systems. At the same time he is an active instructor, with specialization in Data Networking and Telecommunications. He has worked in the design and implementation of Cisco-based networking infrastructure and he is also a Certified Cisco Academy Instructor.

Dr. Dagklis Antonis

Molecular Biologist, PhD

Dr. Antonis Dagklis – Adjunct Lecturer at the Undergraduate School of Early Childhood Studies (HONS) at Mediterranean College in Thessaloniki. Antonis Dagklis holds a PhD in Leukemia research from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH). He also earned his BSc degree from the Molecular and Genetics Department of Democritus University in Thrace (DUTH). Most part of his PhD was conducted at the University Hospital San Raffaele in Milan (Italy). Furthermore, during his PhD he worked at the hematology clinic “STORGI” at the University Hospital Papanikolaou in Thessaloniki. More recently, he worked as a post-doctoral researcher in KU Leuven University (Belgium) during which he won a three-year fellowship. He participated in numerous scientific papers which were published in international journals. During his career he also taught several students acquiring a broad teaching experience.

Dallas Konstantinos , PhDc

Konstantinos Dallas is a graduate with Honors of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Science of the University of Athens. He also holds a postgraduate degree in Molecular and Applied Physiology, from the Medical School of Athens, where he studied the effect of exercise on population with chronic cardiovascular diseases, focusing on heart failure. He is currently a PhD candidate at the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Science of the University of Athens. In his doctoral thesis, he examines the role of exercise, diet and environmental temperature in the regulation of body weight in overweight individuals. During his academic studies, he has been awarded with scholarships from both state (IKY) and private sectors. Since 2016, he has been working as a Physical Education teacher in Primary Education and since 2019, as a Higher Education teacher at Mediterranean College. He has published research in prestigious international scientific journals. His research interests focus on Artistic Gymnastics and Physiology.

Daoultzis Konstantinos-Christos

B.A. M.SC. PhDc. - Psychologist

Konstantinos completed his undergraduate studies in Psychology at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, continued his postgraduate studies in Cognitive Neuropsychology (MSc, Free University of Amsterdam) and in February 2018 began his PhD at Panteion University in the field of Interpersonal Relationships. In his doctoral dissertation, the nature and impact of masculinity on straight and gay men’s romantic relationships is investigated. His research interests include both Social Psychology and Cognitive Neuropsychology, as these two scientific fields can be combined, enhancing scientific knowledge about the close interpersonal relationships of straight and gay men.

Dimitrakopoulou Adamantia, MSc

Adamantia Dimitrakopoulou is a physiotherapist specialized in neurological disorders. She graduated from A.T.E.I of Athens and she continued her studies at Oxford Brookes University in UK so as to take her Master degree in neuro rehabilitation. She has taken part in 2 international conferences, presenting her work about ‘The role of physiotherapy profession in Greece’. Now is working at ‘Physio Power’ private physiotherapy clinic in Athens as well as a freelancer undertaking community visits in neurological patients. Dimopoulos George

Business Consultant

George holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Sunderland University and an MBA in Corporate Finance and Marketing, from Stirling University.  He has more than 15 years of experience in management, consulting, EU funding and he is a guest lecturer for 20 years at the University of Western Attika, Cardiff University and University of Derby. He has managed complex projects involving many stakeholders and has managed to reconcile and overcome difficult, time-pressing situations. He believes that strategy and philosophy assisted by an innovative educational framework is going to help students to be able to think creative and innovative and offer new ways for breakthrough growth and development in the chosen fields of engagement.

Dr. Diomi Georgia

PhD, MA

Dr Georgia Diomi is a graduate of the Department of English Language and Literature of the University of Athens. She holds a Master’s degree (MA) with merit in English Literature from the University of Birmingham, and a PhD in English Literature from the University of Athens.  She has presented papers on Victorian and late-Victorian literature in numerous symposiums, such as the Annual Symposium of English Studies and the European Symposium of Literature and Culture, while, recently, one of her papers was published in the Journal of the European Association for American Studies. She is a lecturer at a postgraduate level (MA Education - TESOL). Research interests: Victorian and Edwardian literature and culture, science, philosophy, and women’s writing

Dr Vitalis Panagiotis

Dr Panagiotis Vitalis was born in Athens in 1987, and today he is married and the father of one child. He holds a PhD in Clinical Exercise Physiology from the University of Wolverhampton in the United Kingdom (UK), where he was visiting lecturer. In Greece, he is a visiting lecturer at the University of Thessaly in the postgraduate programme ''Clinical Exercise Physiologist'' and a lecturer at the Mediterranean College. His research concerns the laboratory evaluation, application, and study of the effect of exercise and physical activity on cardiac and pulmonary physiology in patients with autoimmune rheumatic & musculoskeletal diseases and in the general population. Specifically, his expertise evolves around how physical activity and exercise can improve both cardiopulmonary and musculoskeletal systems through specific physiological mechanisms. As a researcher, he joined international research projects with multidisciplinary teams that consisted of leading academics in their fields. Some of these projects were funded by the European Union (EU) and the European League Against Rheumatism (EULAR), the world's leading organisation in rheumatology. The EULAR has presented results of his work, where he is now a member of the IMPACT-RMD consortium and part of the research team "Physical Activity, Exercise & Rehabilitation" in the community of Health Professionals (HPRs). Dr Panagiotis Vitalis is also a reviewer in international scientific journals and has a rounded and cutting-edge working experience in Physical Activity, Exercise & Health, having worked in world-class centres in both UK and Greece and Belarus.

Dronouda Maria

Maria Dronouda studied at the Economics Department of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and continued her studies with a Master's degree in Informatics and Management (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki). She is also a graduate of ASPETE (School of Pedagogical and Technological Education), where she took the basic directions regarding adult education, pedagogy, teaching modern pedagogical methods and experiential teaching methods. Maria expanded her studies with an MSc in Tourism Business Administration (Hellenic Open University), showing strong interest in the tourism sector. During the last 7 years, she works at AA+Partners, specializing in human resources consulting in the tourism sector, and especially in vocational training.

Drosou Afroditi

Finance, Τax and Audit Manager with experience in designing, structuring and tutoring of business seminars in different sectors including finance, management & business skills. With over 14 years of working experience in multinational/multicultural companies. Coach accredited by ICF. She is also an adult educator accredited by National Kapodistrian University, member of Greek adult educators’ registers (EKPA, LAEK-OAED, EKDDA).

Dr. Efstathiou Marianna

Dr. Marianna Efstathiou is a Mechanical Engineer and she received her Ph.D. from the Polytechnic School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She is a Co-founder of a start-up company that deals with 3d design, reverse engineering and 3d printing services. She has a number of publications in the fields of 3d design and the usage of innovative techniques for the investigation of ancient artifacts.

Dr. Galanis Nikolaos

Nikolaos Galanis (MEng, Dr-Ing) earned his MEng Diploma in Mechanical Engineering in 2004 from the School of Engineering at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. In 2011 the School of Mechanical Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) conferred his Doctorate Degree, on completion of his dissertation in “Ultra Precision Manufacturing of Artificial Biological Implants of Hip Joint”. He worked as Researcher in the Manufacturing Technology Division and CS Laboratory in the School of Mechanical Engineering at NTUA. He has several publications in refereed journals and international conferences in the fields of manufacturing, high speed machining and hard machining (ceramic materials). He taught several laboratory sessions at NTUA, was Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at TEI Stereas Elladas, and taught mechanical engineering courses at ASPAITE. He currently teaches UG and PG Mechanical Design courses at Mediterranean College where he has been an accredited lecturer by the University of Derby since 2016.

Gantinas Theodoros

Psychologist, Cognitive Behavioral Psychotherapist

Theodoros Gantinas holds the degree of BSc in Business Administration with minor in Philosophy from the American College of Thessaloniki (ACT), a degree of BSc in Applied Psychology from the University of Derby, a MSc in Management of Innovation and Organizational Change from the University of Brunel and a MSc in Philosophy and History of Science from Kings College, London School of Economics (LSE) and University College London (UCL) and he is trained in cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy in the Hellenic Association for Behavioral Research - Macedonian Branch. He has worked as project manager in the international research programs on artificial intelligence EuCogII and EuCogIII. He also worked as tutor of Philosophy in ACT’s Bachelor Degree. He has done volunteer work in organizations such as “Arsis” and “Doctors of the World” and was external advisor to the private substance rehabilitation center “Pnoi stin Zoi”. Presently, he works privately as a psychologist-psychotherapist. Research interests: Philosophy of the cognitive sciences, the effect of corporal punishment on later development, the combination of different psychotherapeutic models.

Gavala Elena

Elena Gavala holds an Informatics Bachelor diploma at Athens University of Economics and Business with Double major in Decision Systems & Management Science. She also holds a M.Sc. in Decision Science from the Athens University of Economics and Business. During her career mainly in hospitality, she handles Starwood International Staff Training for the hotels she manage under her position as Chief Information officer (CIO) and some years later she takes over the position of Staff Training Director in Greece for the opening of hotel Grand Hyatt Athens, under the guidance of Hyatt International. George Gkalaitsis

George Gkalaitsis graduated from the department of Mechanical Engineering of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH). Shortly after his graduation, he started working at  “TECHNHM EPE” at Alexandria Hmathia whose main field of work was industrial refrigeration. After one year, he moved to “DOPPLER AEVE”, at Polykastro Kilkis, where his main field of workwas lift manufacturing. He continued working at DOPPLER for about 10 years at the departments of sales, production and finally RnD. For the past 1 and a half year, he’s been working at the RnD department of “BIOFIAL SA” at Kalochori Thessaloniki. He has attended several seminars and training programmes on sales and technical issues. He has been a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece since 2003.

Georgoulopoulou – Rentzepis Cleopatra

Mrs. Cleopatra Georgoulopoulou – Rentzepis has a Bachelor Degree from the National University of Athens -Department of Economic Sciences and a Master of Sciences in Finance from Georgia State University, Atlanta, Georgia (Dean’s List). From 1992 to 1999, she served in managerial positions in two International Banking Institutions in the USA, specifically, as Relationship Manager in the Commercial Lending Division of Nations Bank, and as Assistant Vice President in the Financial Strategic Planning & Operations Division and in the Risk Management Division at the Bankcard Company of First National Bank of Chicago.   From 1999 to 2016, she held managerial positions in the Retail Banking in Greek and International Banks in Greece. She was also the Fraud Risk Manager, responsible for the implementation of the Antifraud Program in Emporiki Bank / Credit Agricole Bank. She completed successfully the Management Associate Program at NationsBank receiving the “Rookie” Award and becoming certified lender& relationship manager for the Commercial Banking. She has also obtained the Bankcard Certification from ABA, USA and the Certification of Fraud Examiners (CFE) from ACFE, USA. During her college years, she worked as a tutor, and a teacher assistant at Georgia State University, as well as, as a teacher at the Greek School of the Hellenic -American Community in Atlanta. During her career, she designed, prepared and executed educational programs in the Organizations she worked for. She speaks English and Greek fluently and she has a working knowledge of French. She has been very active in volunteering and she has served as a President and a BoD member in associations in the USA and Greece. As a member of ACFE, she has been the Ambassador for “Education”. Giaka Maria

Maria Giaka is a Ph.D. Candidate in the University of Piraeus. She holds a M.Sc. in Economics and Business Strategy from the University of Piraeus. She also holds a bachelor in Economics from National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Her research interests are in the areas of Economics, International Business, Innovation, Sustainability, Ethical Economy and Marketing. Dr. Giannouli Vaitsa

Vaitsa Giannouli holds a BSc in Psychology and a MSc in Cognitive Psychology and Neuropsychology from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She has received a PhD in Neuroscience from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Her clinical and research interests focus οn the application of neuropsychological methods and advanced neuroimaging techniques for both structural and functional evaluation of the brain-behavior relationship in neurological and psychiatric diseases.  She has worked for several years as a tutor and an adult educator. She has published articles in academic and scientific journals and has made presentations at international conferences. Her research interests are in the area of cognitive psychology, neuropsychology, health psychology and quantitative/qualitative methods of research.

Gkaranis Andreas

Special Educator, Adult Educator

Andreas Gkaranis holds a degree in Philosophy and Education specialized in Education and a Master in School Education specialized in Special Education from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.He has workedas a SEN language teacher in centers for special education, in special schools and integration classes of the Ministry of Education. At the same time, he worked as an instructor at Prefectural Committee for Adult Training of Thessaloniki and at public Vocational Training Institutes, teaching courses related to special education. He was a member of a scientific group for psychosocial support of immigrants and repatriated students and for training teachers in research projects of the sector of Pedagogy at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Aegean University, School of Pedagogical and Technological Education and National Confederation of People with Disabilities. Maria Gkouma, Marketing & Commercial Director, Hellenic Football Federation

Maria Gkouma is currently working for the Hellenic Football Federation as a Marketing & Commercial Director. During her professional career, she has worked for several companies (Panathinaikos BC, AEL Limassol FC, AEK Larnakas FC, Football Team, Puma Football Department, Olympic Games), as well as she has organised various national and international sport events with her company. Goudosis Thanasis, PhD c.

Thanasis Goudosis has a degree on Mathematics from the University of the Aegean (1998), Master In Science in Information Security from the Information Security Group, Royal Holloway and Bedford new College, UNIVERSITY OF LONDON, Egham, London (United Kingdom) (1999) and since 2015 he is a Candidate PhD student of Piraeus University, School of Information Technology and Communications, Department of Digital Systems. He has worked in the private sector as Information Security Consultant and various IT positions in public sector. He has participated in a number of European projects and has publications in conferences and journals. Areas of particular research interest are the public key encryption and the information security in basic infrastructures.

Dr. Gougousi Magdalene

Psychologist, Adult Trainer

Magdalene Gougoussi holds a BSc and a PhD in Psychology (University of Sunderland, UK in cooperation with the University of Crete, Greece). The main body of her work concerns the integration of quantitative and qualitative methodologies in health psychology and consumer behaviour. She has been teaching research methods and statistics and supervising projects for more than 10 years. She is currently teaching at Mediterranean College (in cooperation with Derby University). Her areas of interest include the integration of quantitative and qualitative methodologies, work psychology and consumer behaviour. Last but not least, Magdalene Gougousi is a certified Adults’ Trainers, trained in The Principles of Adults’ Education, in Vocational Education and Training, in Designing and organization and design of teaching to adults and minors and in School and Educational Psychology.   Research interests: integration of quantitative and qualitative methodologies, work psychology and consumer behavior, educational psychology.

Halikiopoulou Olympia

Olympia Halikiopoulou holds a BSc (Hons) in Psychology from the University of Reading, UK and an MSc in Psychology with a specialization in Clinical Neuropsychology from the University of Leiden, the Netherlands. Through her Master’s degree in Holland, she has received extensive training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness, as well as Neurofeedback techniques. Furthermore, she is a qualified professional in Cognitive, Neuropsychological and Psychometric assessment as well as in Cognitive Rehabilitation of Neurological disorders in adults and developmental difficulties in children. By participating in the Non – Directevité Intervenante (NDI) program, she has actively facilitated groups for teenagers with Asperger’s Syndrome through her collaboration with rehabilitation centers for children with special needs. Since 2015, she has been active in her private practice as a Neuropsychologist and Cognitive – Behavioral Therapist, collaborating closely with patients with epilepsy, traumatic brain injury, dementia and cerebrovascular disease, as well as emotional difficulties, stress and anxiety. Olympia is very passionate about Neurolinguistics, especially bimodal bilingualism through studying Deaf Culture and Sign Languages. She is Proficient in Greek Sign Language and has presented her research on counseling and Deaf Culture in various National conferences. Dr. Iatrou George P.

Dr. George Iatrou holds a bachelor degree in Philosophy, Education and Psychology and a master in Mental Health. He is a Phd candidate at the School of Medicine, University of Thessaly. He is specialized in family therapy and in counseling psychology.He works especially with children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder and as a counselor for children and families.  During the past 3 years he is a certified counselor in good enough parenting and attachment parenting and he coordinates seminars for parents. He has published articles in academic and scientific journals and has made presentations at international conferences. His research interests are in empathy, compassion and mental health care.

Dr. Iliopoulou Triantafyllia

Criminologist

Triantafyllia Illiopoulou holds a PhD in Criminology, an MSc in Criminology & Criminal Justice and a BSc in Social Work. She currently conducts a postdoctoral research on cybercrime in collaboration with the University of the Peloponnese. As a social worker she has worked in the Hellenic Police, Mental Health Centers, NGOs and at the Anticancer Society. Currently she is working at the School of Fine Arts providing psychosocial support to students while since 2018 she has been teaching at the University of West Attica. She has completed her training in Phenomenological & Existential Analysis & Psychotherapy, providing individual sessions.  

Dr. Ioannou Christina

PhD, MSc, BSc (Hons) – Neuropsychologist

Christina Ioannou is a psychologist - trainee psychotherapist of Systemic Family and Couples Therapy and has a private practice at the centre of Athens. At the same time, she collaborates with Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences, where she coordinates the EU-funded project BRING-In, which involves training social and health care professionals to better meet the needs of and ultimately combat discrimination against intersex individuals. She obtained a Doctorate (PhD) from École Normale Supérieure – Ulm. She holds a Master’s degree in Cognitive Neuroscience (MSc) and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology (BSc Hons) from the University of Reading, where she worked as an ABA therapist for young children with autism and as an academic and social mentor for university students with mental health needs. Dr. Kalaitzi Christina

Christina Kalaitzi is an Early Years Researcher. She is specialized in English and American Children's Literature and Creative Writing in Education. Her doctoral research investigates the development of narrative skill through the combined use of narrative elements. She has published papers in the areas of children’s literature, social literacy and creative writing-based teaching approaches, creative approaches to the new curriculum and teaching interventions. Her latest published scholarly textbook approaches the development of narrative skill in the early years through a specially designed teaching intervention. She works as a Visiting Lecturer in the Master’s Programme “Science of Education: Creative Writing in Education” of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Kalogiannis Grigorios PhD c.

Electrical and Computer Engineer, Researcher

Kalogiannis Grigorios received his Diploma Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Polytechnic School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh) and holds a Master’s Degree in Advanced Computer Systems and Communications of the same School. From 2013 he is PhD Candidate in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Polytechnic School of the AUTh and researcher in the Computer Systems Architecture Laboratory (CSAL). In 2017 he received the HiPEAC. Mobility Award for participating in Arm (UK) Research Team in order to prototype embedded systems and SoCs using FPGA. Dr. Kalyviotis Nikolaos

Civil Engineer, Engineering Project Management Expert

A Civil Engineer with pertinent experience through tenures in North America, Europe, Australia and Middle East, specialised in Project Management. Before joining Mediterranean College, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Toronto (Canada) and was teaching in the Master of Engineering in Cities Engineering and Management. Nikos completed his PhD at the University of Birmingham (UK). One third of his doctorate was held at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (USA) and a smaller part at the University of Melbourne (Australia). He is a Dipl.-Ing. Civil Engineer of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki with exchange studies at the City University London (UK), at the Delft University of Technology (Netherlands) and at the Czech Technical University in Prague (Czech Republic). He is a holder of the Erasmus Mundus Masters in Strategic Project Management European (Politecnico di Milano Italy, Heriot-Watt University Edinburgh UK and Umea University Sweden). Part of his research has been published in international scientific journals and conferences and he is a reviewer of international scientific journals and conferences.

Kanonis Alexandros

Alexandros Kanonis holds a BSc in Operations Management and an MBA (with Distinction) from Lancaster University in conjunction with an MSc in Supply Engineering & Logistics from the University of Warwick. His work experience is mainly gained in the UK working in the Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), Consumer Electronics (CE) and Consulting industries for companies such as Procter & Gamble, Samsung, Philips and Ernst & Young (EY) respectively. Physical Education Lecturer

Graduated from the Department of Physical Education and Sports Science of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece with specialty in Fitness and Health. In 2011, he received his Master’s degree in Biology of Physical Activity, with specialty in Sport Medicine-Sport Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, from the same Department. Currently he is working as a Parttime Lecturer of Physical Conditioning at Hellenic Air Force Academy and he is conducting his research studies in the field of Sport Rehabilitation for his doctorate degree at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. His research interests focus on sports performance, injuries prevention and rehabilitation.

Dr. Karagianni Despoina

Despoina Karagianni holds a BSc in Psychology from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece and an MSc in Inclusive and Special Education from the University of Edinburgh, UK. She is a PhD candidate in the University of Macedonia at the Department of Educational and Social Policy and her research involves how we can develop leadership skills among children. She has published articles in academic and scientific journals and has made presentations at international conferences. She is specialized in Family Therapy and has worked as a tutor and an adult educator for the Institution of Youth and Lifelong Learning. Since 2013, she is coordinating parents’ counselling groups and has been a tutor in Lifelong Learning Centers and Institutes of Vocational Training. She has worked as a psychologist in the Greek Police, in institutions with students, parents and educators, with disabled people, refugees and psychiatric patients. She has worked as an external partner in programs from the University of Thessaly and University of Macedonia as well as in the Ministry of Education.

Karaiskou Elisavet

She has studied economics, holds a Master’s degree (MSc) in economic development and a PhD in public governance and public –private partnerships. Her research interests include health and social protection economics, public policy and regulatory evaluation and public administration management. She currently works at the greek Ministry of Administrative Reconstruction and has more than 15 years of professional experience in health and social protection (at the greek Health Ombudsman and the Central Administration of the Social Security Institute-EFKA). She was a visiting lecturer at Harokopio University of Athens and the University of Thessaly. Her papers have been published in international journals and edited books.

Karalazarou Maria

Maria Karalazarou is a graduate of the Tourism Department of the Technological Educational Institute of Thessaloniki and holds an MBA specializing in Tourism and Hospitality from the English-speaking program of the Technological Educational Institute of Central Macedonia. Dr. Karali Angeliki

Dr. Angela Karali, Coordinator of the School of Engineering at MC, has a MEng degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Patras, a MSc in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from the University of Rochester (USA) and a PhD in Engineering Science and Mechanics from Pennsylvania State University (USA). She also holds a Certificate in Business Administration and Marketing from the University of California Berkeley-Extension. As a PhD student and later as an Assistant Professor of Engineering at PSU-Shenango, she taught several undergraduate and graduate courses, in the areas of Engineering Mechanics and Applied Mathematics. Dr. Karali has worked in the new product development and manufacturing business units of Cummins, Inc., a FORTUNE-500 manufacturer of diesel engines and filtration products, headquartered in Columbus, IN (USA). For more than 15 years she has worked as a consultant focusing on the development and implementation of technical and education projects in Greece and several other EU member-states.

Karapanou Sofia

Sofia Karapanou is an accredited lecturer at the University of Derby-Mediterranean College where she has been teaching since 2016. She is a graduate of the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) in Civil Engineering with specialization in Transportation. She holds a MSc degree in Coastal Zone Management from the NTUA Interdisciplinary Post-graduate Programme and a MBA from the Hellenic Open University. She has worked as Researcher at NTUA in Road Safety. Since 2009 she works as an independent engineering consultant in transportation. Since 2011 she worked with engineering firms specializing in design studies of major infrastructure projects, environmental impact studies, water resources management, and anti-flood works.

Karathanasi Dimitra

Dimitra Karathanasi is a highly qualified Τourism expert. With a Diploma of the famous Hotel Management School “Les Roches”, in Switcherland, she has started her career in London with the Hilton company and returned to Greece in 1995. She worked for more than 12 years for the largest Hotel Chain in Greece, “The Daskalantonakis Group”, at all Sales and Marketing positions of the company and coached a large team of sales personnel, in Greece and abroad as the Executive Director (Commercial). Since 2008 she has her own private company and works as a Hotel Management Consultant. She also has a wider knowledge of the Greek Tourism industry.

Kardala Maria, PhD c.

Maria Kardala is a graduate of the Civil Engineering Department at the Democritus University of Thrace (DUTh) and holds a Master of Science degree in Analysis and Design of Earthquake Resistant Structures from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). She is currently working on her PhD Thesis at the School of Civil Engineering at NTUA. Her research work focuses on 3D nonlinear finite element assessment of reinforced concrete members and the strengthening of reinforced concrete structures through external confining reinforcement with high deformability fiber ropes. Her research work has been published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at international conferences. She is fluent in English and has a good knowledge of German and Italian. She is a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece (TEE) and works as a Civil Engineer consultant and Energy Inspector of buildings.

Karpouchtsis Stavros

Mr Stavros Karpouchtsis is a psychologist, graduated from the Department of Psychology, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and holds a postgraduate degree “Master of science in Counselling Psychology” from the University of Sheffield. He works as a psychotherapist in private practice while teaching at the Psychology programmes of Mediterranean College (HND & Bachelor). He is trained in the person-centered psychotherapy and in the systemic psychotherapy and counselling. He cooperates with the center of Adlerian Psychology in Thessaloniki and the International center of Systemic Therapy in Heidelberg, Germany. He has numerous participations in International conferences and he has published papers in scientific journals and conferences. His research interests focus on issues which concern the areas of Clinical and Counselling Psychology especially anxiety disorders, marriage counselling  and group therapy.

Kastanas Pavlos

He studied Physics at the University of Athens and got a Master’s degree in Astrophysics with distinction from Queen Mary, University of London. During his postgraduate studies his research focused on the discovery or Earth-like exoplanets. He has been working in education for several years as an associate lecturer of the University of Derby teaching undergraduate science classes and has been awarded the “Academic Staff Recognition and Excellence Award” from Mediterranean College. He is the creator of popular astronomy channel “Astronio” and has designed a series of lessons of astronomy for children. To share his passion for astrophysics and science with a wide audience of non-specialists, he has participated in the TEDx events of the Technical Universities of Crete and Athens and has given speeches at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, the Athens Science Festival, The Planetarium of the Eugenides Foundation and Mediterranean College. 

Katsapi Rea

Programme Leader, School of Education, Thessaloniki

Katsapi Rea is a PhD candidate in the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki at the Faculty of Education and her research focuses on the relationship between child – space and the creation of educational places in the collaborative classroom of kindergarten. She is a graduate of the School of Early Childhood Education of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and she holds a masters degree on Educational Leadership and Administration from the University of Nicosia. She won a scholarship to Institution of International Communication IIK Düsseldorf, where she attended many seminars on teaching the German language. She speaks fluent English, German and Russian. She has worked as a university teaching assistant in undergraduate courses in the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki at the Faculty of Education and also as a kindergarten teacher in private schools of Thessaloniki. Her research interests include space and pedagogy, educational material and its implementation, teaching foreign languages in preschool education.

Dr. Katsifaraki Maria

Clinical Psychologist

After graduating from the Psychology Department of Panteion University, she continued her studies at Swansea University (UK), where she completed her Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology and her PhD in Clinical and Work Psychology. She worked as a post-doctoral researcher at the National Institute of Occupational Health in Norway for 2.5 years. She has worked as a psychologist at the Psychological Departments of Penteli General Hospital for Children (Athens) and Swansea Central Clinic (UK). Her articles are published in international scientific journals and she has presented her research work at international conferences. She is working both at Mediterranean College and has her private practice in Athens. Research interests: work stress, work relations, burnout & shiftwork.

Katsifis Konstantinos

Mr. Konstantinos Katsifis is an analytically minded Information Technology tutor and Data Scientist supporting Decision Making procedures. He consults, writes, speaks and teaches about BI (Business Intelligence), IT (information technology), and Advanced Algorithms. He has been working with companies to model data, visualize and deliver critical information and make informed business decisions. Mr Katsifis is an expert at translating data into easily understandable analysis and insights that in turn can drive high impact business decisions. Prior to his role as an Analyst he has a very strong background in Statistics & Data Analysis, Data Mining and because of his continuous learning style, holds an excellent level of software knowledge. Mr Katsifis studied at the Department of Physics at the University of Patras with postgraduate studies in Physics (Computational & Theoretical High Energy Physics) at the National Technical University of Athens. He is currently PhD candidate at University of West Attica, Biomedical Engineering Department. His main research activities lie in the field of Decision Support Systems, Pattern Recognition.

Dr. Katsigiannis Christos

Dr. Christos Katsigiannis was born in Halkida, Evoia in 1981. After the completion of primary and secondary education, he studied at the University of Patras, Computer Engineering and Informatics Department, gaining his diploma in 2004. Afterwards, he continued as a PhD candidate at the National Technical University of Athens, School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, being announced Doctor in 2010. While pursuing his Doctorate, he cooperated with the Research Institutions of NTUA (Institute of Communication and Computer Systems), being technical manager and software engineer in several EU funded research projects. Concurrently, he served as a teaching assistant for the modules of the director of the Intelligent Communications and Broadband Networks Laboratory. Now, he is working as a software and network engineer in the private sector, focusing on the design and implementation of high availability systems.

Kesalidis Vasilis

Vasilis Kesalidis holds a B.Sc. in Physics, specialized in Theoretical Physics, from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. His postgraduate studies include a M.A.St. in Mathematics from University of Cambridge, under a fellowship of Trinity College, as well as a Research M.Sc. in Theoretical Physics from Utrecht University in the Netherlands, working on applications of quantum field theory in cosmology. Since 2010 he is occupied in the field of secondary education public schools as a science teacher (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics), including the preparation of university candidates.

Kilipiri Eleni

Eleni Kilipiri is specialized in Management & Marketing fields with teaching experience on relevant subjects such as Business Administration, Marketing, Market Research, International Management and Marketing. She holds a bachelor degree from the Department of Business Administration and Management of the University of Macedonia as well as a master degree in MSc Business Administration - International Management of the University of Amsterdam (UvA). She has working and teaching experience in digital marketing with main focus on offline and online marketing strategies, data analysis and Google Analytics, digital advertising and competition analysis.

Dr. Kitonakis Nikolaos

Dr. Nikolaos Kitonakis holds a Bachelor in Political Sciences and Public Administration from the University of Athens, an  M.A. (Excellent) in International & European Studies from the University of Athens, an MBA from Athens University of Economics and Business and a PhD in Investment and Economics from the University of Athens. He has extended teaching experience, professional experience in private companies and public organizations and he has also participated in a variety of research projects.

Kongas Demetrios

Programme Leader Undergraduate Programmes, Business School

Demetrios Kongas holds a BA and an MA in Sociology from the University of Essex. His research interests are around the area of organizational theory, ideology, labour relations, industrial conflict, culture and leadership. He has written a book on organizational theory and personnel management and is currently writing a book on sociology. Demetrios Kongas is the Programme Leader of Undergraduate Programmes in the School of Business at Mediterranean College, Athens, Greece, and responsible for teaching the modules, Understanding People in Organisations, Managing People, Developing Leadership and Management and Business Consultancy Project. He is also teaching Quality, Leadership and Management in the MA Education Leadership and Management programme.

Dr. Koutsoupidou Theano

Head, School of Education & Learning and Teaching Coordinator (Dpt Academic Affairs)

Theano Koutsoupidou is Head of the School of Education and Programme Leader for the BA (Hons) Early Childhood Studies and the MPS Intercultural Education: Immigration and Forced Displacement. She also acts as Learning & Teaching Coordinator across all Schools of Mediterranean College. She holds a PhD in Education and a PGCert of ‘Learning and Teaching in Higher Education’, both from the University of Surrey (UK). She has also completed music studies (Integrated Master) at the University of Athens and the National Conservatory. Since 2006 she has been holding teaching posts at universities (University of the Aegean, University of Athens, European University Cyprus), for both face to face and distance learning programmes, colleges, vocational training institutes, secondary schools and early childhood centres. She also has experience in professional development and lifelong learning programmes. She has been involved in several independent and collaborative projects and her work has been published at numerous scientific journals, international conference proceedings and edited volumes. For her research she has received awards from the Greek Ministry of Education, ESCOM, SEMPRE and the Froebel Trust. She acts as examiner and academic advisor for the Institute of Educational Policy and the National Organisation for the Certification of Qualifications and Vocational Guidance. She is Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (UK) and certified adult educator by EOPPEP. Kyanides Yannis, PhD c.

Yannis is an economist – entrepreneur and a PhD candidate at the University of Macedonia. He graduated from the Department of Business Administration of the University of Macedonia, where he also completed his postgraduate studies, gaining an MBA. He has worked as a consultant in various consultancy agencies (2005-2007), as an analyst at the Federation of Industries of Northern Greece (2007-2008) as well as a scientific associate to former MP Vasileios Geranidis (2008-2012). Today he is active in the area of Business Consultancy and Energy. He is the author of a number of articles that have been published on newspapers and magazines.

Kyriakopoulos Nikolaos

Nikolaos Kyriakopoulos is a PhD candidate at the Marketing Department of Athens University of Economics and Business. He studied Business Administration and Management at University of Piraeus and holds an MSc in Marketing from the Erasmus University of Rotterdam. At the same university he worked as an assistant researcher. He currently works as a researcher at the Marketing Laboratory of the Athens University of Economics and Business. Lekka Elena

Educational Psychologist

Elena Lekka is a graduate of the Psychology Department of the Panteion University of Athens, and holds a Master’s Degree in Psychology of Education (MSc) from the UCL Institute of Education. She attended specialized courses in Special Education for Children with Disabilities and Special Educational Needs (2^nd Pediatric Clinic of the University of Athens). She has worked as a psychologist in elementary schools being responsible for the assessment and support of students with special educational needs. Dr. Louka Penelope

Penelope Louka holds a BSc (Hons) in Psychology and an MSc in Health Psychology from the University of Luton (Great Britain), and a Doctoral degree (PhD) in Social and Health Psychology from the University of Westminster (Great Britain). She has worked for several years as a professor at the University of Westminster at both Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels. Dr. Louka has published an array of articles in academic and scientific journals and international conferences. She is a Chartered Member (CPsychol) and an Associate Fellow (AFBPsS) of the British Psychological Society (BPS). Research interests: social representations, addictions, quality of life, attitudes about health-illness, stages of change, bereavement.

Dr. Loupou Eleni

Child Psychologist - Psychotherapist, Programme Leader of the Counselling & Psychotherapy programmes

E. Loupou, has obtained her PhD and MA at the University of Essex in the field of Psychoanalytic Studies and her BSc in Psychology. She has been trained in observing and recording the developmental stages that an infant goes through (mother-infant observation Tavistock Clinic) as well as observing and recording the dynamics that develop in the family setting, (University of Essex, Center for Psychoanalytic Studies). Throughout her career she has been employed by private settings specializing in adult, child and adolescent therapeutic intervention. She was also employed by schools (Claydon Highschool) and a school-children’s home (The Ryes School).

Dr. Malatra Ioanna

Ioanna Malatra is a U.S.-trained Speech-Language Pathologist with expertise in the areas of voice disorders and dysphagia. She holds a Master of Science in Speech – Language Pathology, a Master of Philosophy in Speech-Language Pathology and a PhD in Speech-Language Pathology, all from Columbia University, NY, USA. She has extensive clinical and research experience both in Europe and the United States. She has worked in top U.S. medical settings, including New York Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center and Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Ms. Malatra has been involved in several research projects at Columbia University and has worked as a research fellow at Aristotle’s University of Thessaloniki Department of Neurology. She has taught several courses at Columbia University and at the Department of Speech and Language Therapy at the Technological Educational Institute of Western Greece in Patra. Ms. Malatra is the Programme Leader of the Speech Pathology and Therapy program at the Mediterranean College.

Manarioti Agapi

Agapi Manarioti is an experienced marketer with an extensive portfolio of projects, in Greece, Cyprus and the UK. As a consultant and trainer she has focused on building brands with strong values and traits both in the online and the offline world, and on developing the necessary internal skills to enhance and support those brands. This relationship between the consumer and brands and the interactivity in developing meaning and value is also the field of her academic research as a PhD candidate in the field of branding. Dr. Mandroukas Athanasios

Exercise Physiologist, Sport Scientist, Program Leader in BSc (Hons) Sport Science and Coaching, School of Health and Sport Sciences, Mediterranean College

Athanasios Mandroukas is a distinct graduate of sports science (BSc) from Charles University in Prague. He also holds a masters degree (MSc) in sports and exercise science from Leeds Beckett University (UK) and a Ph.D. from Charles University in Prague. His Masters dissertation analysed the methodology and reliability of repetitive measurements in the laboratory. His Ph.D. dissertation focused on the physiological and neuromuscular changes between young football players and untrained adolescents of the same biological age. He was in charge of the laboratory based modules, in terms of supporting university students and also assessing third party test results. He holds a UEFA B’ football coaching licence and is in the evaluation process of UEFA A’. He has worked as a coach in football players of developmental ages, as well as a Fitness and Strength & Conditioning coach at the highest level. He has also worked as an administrative director in sports clubs, with the main responsibility of their proper organisation and operation as well as a Physical Education lecturer in secondary education schools in Leeds (UK). He has a plethora of publications in internationally credible journals, as well as presentations in international conferences/symposiums. His scientific record has been recognised at an international level, with numerous citations from several other scientists. Manologlou Sotirios

Mr. Sotirios Manologlou is a PhD candidate in the Department of Maritime Studies of the School of Shipping and Industry, at University of Piraeus. His field of research is related to the economics of the environment and the protection of the marine environment. He holds a Master Degree (2009) in "Applied Economics and Econometrics" from the Department of Economics at the Athens University of Economics and Business. For his postgraduate studies, he received a two-year scholarship from the΄΄ Propontis΄΄ Public Benefit Foundation of shipowner D. Diamantidis. In 2006 he was declared a graduate of the Department of Maritime Studies of the University of Piraeus, having received two scholarships from the ΄΄National Scholarships Foundation’’ for excellent performance. In addition to his studies, he successfully completed a one-year academic seminar at Hellenic Shipbrokers Association. He is a member of the "Union of Maritime Economists of Greece" and a member of the "Marine Science Laboratory" of the University of Piraeus. During his studies, he has participated in many national, European and international conferences as a speaker, focusing on sustainable development, protection and improvement of the coastal zone, sustainable tourism and especially maritime and the creation and certification of 'Green' ports. Dr. Maragkos Nikolaos

Dr. Nikolaos Maragkos  is a Civil Engineer graduated from the Civil Engineering Department of Engineering Faculty in Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (A.U.Th.). He also holds a postgraduate degree "Master of Science in Antiseismic Design of Structures" from the Civil Engineering Department of A.U.Th. and a Doctoral degree (PhD) in Tunnelling from the Geotechnical Engineering Division - Civil Engineering Department of A.U.Th. Dr. Maragkos has published an array of articles in academic and scientific journals and has made numerous presentations at international conferences. He works as a Public and Private Works Designer and he is a member of a Public and Private Works Construction Company. He teaches at the School of Engineering at Mediterranean College since 2011. He was a scientific associate at the Civil Engineering Department of Technological Educational Institute of Serres during the period 2006-2013.

Dr. Markaki Evangelia

Evangelia Markaki is PhD holder on Applied Statistics from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and Scientific Director of the Company Excellentia International. She works in the private sector in area of Human Resources Management as coordinator for managing recruitment and selection procedures, conduct interviews, planning of human resources, the training and development assessment programs. The last 5 year she realized more than 3,000 interviews with staff and candidates. She has worked in the Greek Broadcasting Corporation (ERT), the regional channel Blue Sky, during the Olympic Games of Athens 2004 Athens in Olympic Broadcasting (AOB), in consulting companies and in VPRC. Since 2008 she works in the field of vocational guidance, career development and career planning. Menegatou Ioanna

Ioanna had worked in various educational settings and provisions carrying out assessments and delivering intervention programs, in Greece, Switzerland and in the UK. Ioanna has been working as an Education Health Care Coordinator in Special Educational Needs Service in London for over 6 years where she was responsible to coordinate the assessments process and issue the final statements of SEN (Education Health and Care Plans). At Mediterranean College, Ioanna leads the placement module of the postgraduate programme MA Inclusion and Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.

Messini Anastasia

Graduate of the Department of Physical Education and Sports of the University of Athens and graduate of the Department of Dietetics of the AUA, as well as a holder of an MSc in Applied Dietetics and Nutrition from the Harokopion University. Additionally, she holds an MSc in Mental Health Promotion - Prevention of Psychiatric Disorders from the Medical School of Athens. Believer of lifelong learning, she attends the Business Administration department at the Hellenic Open University. She is a scientific associate and member of the interdisciplinary team at the First Psychiatric Clinic, of the University Hospital of Aeginite, in the Eating Disorders department. Dr. Mirisidis John

John Mirisidis Ioannis received his Diploma Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Polytechnic School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2001 and his Ph.D. in the field of Coated Tools Wear Cutting Performance in 2006. He has been Scientific Collaborator at the Laboratory for Machine Tools and Manufacturing Engineering at the Mechanical Engineering Department of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (2001-2015) and researcher for the Fraunhofer Project Center for Coatings in Manufacturing, in Centre for Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH) (2008-2015). Since 2007 he has been an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the Technological Educational Institute (TEI) of Western Macedonia. Additionally, he has been an Adjunct Lecturer in the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (2007-2011). Since 2012, he is Assistant Professor in PPC position “Materials Manufacturing Processing for Applications in Energy Systems”. He has published 25 scientific papers in International Journals and more than 40 scientific papers in conference proceedings. Also he has participated in several international research projects. His research interests include CNC programming, material characterization and FEM simulations.

Dr. Mitsiou Maria

Dr Mitsiou Maria is an Adapted Physical Educator who graduated from the Department of the of Physical Education and Sport Science (DPESS) of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh) and also Physical Therapist from  the Department of Physiotherapy of Alexander Technological Educational Institute of Thessaloniki (ATEITH). She completed successfully all of the four Greek sign language courses and is also certified in reading and writing Braille. She authored her 1st M.Sc. Thesis from the postgraduate programme «Physical activity and Quality of Life» from the Developmental Medicine and Special Education Laboratory of the DPESS of AUTh, focusing on Psychomotor Therapy. She was awarded her Ph.D. Thesis from the Sports Medicine Laboratory from the DPESS of AUTh with speciality in Cardiac Rehabilitation. Her 2nd M.Sc. is entitled «Medical Research Methodology» from the Department of Medicine of AUTh. In between her Ph.D. studies she received a training fellowship as the Best PhD student from the Research Committee (AUTH). Currently her Postdoctoral research interests are within technology enhanced learning in Medical Education. Mitsopoulos Georgios

Mechanical Engineer (NTUA) specializing in RES / Energy Saving technologies applications with emphasis on the building sector. He engages in the design / implementation of projects in the private sector, and actively participates in the design & implementation of co-financed European research programs (Interreg, MED, EEA Grants, Horizon, etc.) focusing on innovative projects in public buildings and infrastructure. He has implemented over 120 energy inspections. He is a PhD Candidate in Thermal Engineering at the NTUA School of Mechanical Engineering with a view to modeling nZEBs buildings, holds two master's degrees in Energy and Business Administration and has more than 18 publications in international scientific journals and conferences. He speaks English and German. He teaches at the MSc in Mechanical Engineering and Design at the MC School of Engineering.

Dr. Mylonas Chrysostomos

Chrysostomos Mylonas received his Diploma Degree in Civil Engineering from the Engineering Faculty of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh) in 2013. In 2014 he received a MSc in “Engineering Project Management” from the Civil Engineering department of the Engineering Faculty of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh). Since January 2016 he is a PhD candidate at the Civil Engineering department of the Engineering Faculty of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh). Since March 2018 he is a PhD scholar/ research associate at the Hellenic Institute of Transport (HIT) of the Centre for Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH). He is a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece.

Nasiopoulou Georgia

Georgia Nasiopoulou holds a BSc in Psychology and an MSc in Cognitive Psychology from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She is specialized in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and in Group Therapy, and she is certified as an Advanced level Schema Therapist and supervisor. Her last training on the Good Enough Parenting program has certified her as a Parenting Facilitator. She has worked for several years as a tutor and an adult educator. Since 2008, she is coordinating parents’ counseling groups for the Institution of Youth and Lifelong Learning. She also works at private practice as a psychologist and a group therapist. She is the Programme Leader of the MSc Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy, as well as of the Higher National Diploma in Counselling and Psychology, and the Advanced Professional Certificate in Counselling: Theory and Practice, at Mediterranean College of Thessaloniki. She has published articles in academic and scientific journals and has made presentations at international conferences. Nikitaki Elisavet

Elisavet Nikitaki holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Shipping from the University of Piraeus and a Master’s degree in Shipping from the same University. She has worked in Shipping Companies to the Crew Department and to the Legal Department. She has also worked in boat service units. Elisavet has participated in the Ministry of Transport research "Edit & statistical analysis of the gas analysis laboratory test results" in collaboration with the Department of research of the technical Institute of Piraeus. Her academic specialisation is on "Economics and Management in the maritime sector". Over the last six years, she has teaching experience of over 3200 hours at a post-high school education level. She has also attended many seminars on shipping. She holds diplomas in English, Italian, Spanish and Chinese language. Teaches: Transport Policy.

Nikolaidis Sarantis, MSc, cert.MDT, H.OMT-D

Sarantis was born in Athens in 1981. He graduated from the 4th high-school in Kallithea, he studied in the Physiotherapy Department of Charles University with scholarship and received his bachelor degree title as Physiotherapist in 2003. He continued his studies at a Master’s level at the same University, where he was awarded with scholarship, and he specialised in “Musculoskeletal and Neurological Rehabilitation”. In 2005 he came back to Greece and he was licensed as a physiotherapist after attending two semesters in the A.T.E.I. of Lamia physiotherapy programme. He has attended a number of seminars and courses regarding musculoskeletal rehabilitation (lower limb biomechanics, orthotics construction, myofascial release techniques, upper limb rehabilitation, taping, explain pain). Moreover, he has been certified from the Hellenic Institute of McKenzie therapy (cert.MTD) and the Manual Therapy courses of H.OMT-D. Since 2006 until 2008 he worked in a number of physiotherapy clinics and sport clubs treating patients with musculoskeletal problems and he was a physiotherapy tutor. Dr. Painesis Grigorios

Grigorios Painesis holds a BSc in Marketing and Communication from Athens University of Economics and Business (2005) and an MSc in Management Science and Operational Research (with Distinction) from University of Warwick (2007). He also holds a PhD in Marketing from Athens University of Economics and Business (Department of Marketing & Communication) with focus on consumer behavior and retail marketing. Panidou Maria

Maria Panidou started her studies at the Technological Educational Institute of Larissa, where she received a degree in Tourism Management and continued with a Master in Business Administration (MBA) with specialization in Human Resource Management at the University of Macedonia. Panoutsos Stelios

Stelios Panoutsos has a Diploma/ MEng in Civil Engineering and a MSc Degree in Structural Design and Analysis of Structures, both from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). He is an experienced site supervisor engineer and construction project manager. Since 2008 he is an accredited lecturer at Mediterranean College (ATH), teaching in the fields of engineering mechanics, strength of materials, statics and dynamics of structures.

Papadima Rania

Rania Papadima is an Adjunct Lecturer at Mediterranean College, where she teaches Second Language Acquisition, English for Academic Purposes (EAP) and English for Specific Purposes (ESP). She has also taught at Royal Holloway, University of London and the University of Dundee. She is an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy of the UK and has extensive experience teaching in Higher Education, in addition to teaching English in Primary and Secondary Education. She holds a degree in English Language and Literature from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and a M.Ed. in Teaching English as a Foreign / International Language from the Hellenic Open University. Papadrosou Maria-Sofia

Maria-Sofia Papadrosou has finished her Master’s in Special Education with first class honors and continued with her PhD in University of London, Roehampton, in the UK, where she works also as a Visiting Lecturer. She is familiar with the educational system of England, Germany and Greece, as she has taught there and she is experienced in various cases of autism spectrum disorder, mental and learning difficulties. Her PhD is about Anxiety and Depression and the subjects in which she has been a Module Leader in Mediterranean College are Psychology in Education, Social and Emotional Development, ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder, and Learning Difficulties.  

Papageorgaki Ino, PhD c.

Ino Papageorgaki holds a MEng in Rural & Surveying Engineering and a Master of Science (M.Sc.), in Water Resources: Science and Technology, both from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). She is currently a Ph.D. student at NTUA. Her research and work experience are in spatial information analysis by Geographic Information Systems (GIS) in surveying, photogrammetry, mapping, hydrology and natural hazards. She is a collaborator in research projects carried out by the Laboratory of Reclamation Works and Water Resources Management at the School of Rural and Surveying Engineering, N.T.U.A. and since 2010 has also supervised several diploma theses in surveying, hydrology and flood risk. A University of Derby accredited lecturer since 2016 she is the Module Leader for Site Surveying and Flood Risk Management at MC School of Engineering.

Papantoniou Ioannis

Ιoannis Papantoniou received his Diploma/MEng Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University of Crete (TUC) and completed a MSc degree in "Materials Science and Technology" at NTUA. Since 2014 he is a PhD candidate in the Manufacturing Technology Division, School of Mechanical Engineering at NTUA. His research interests lie in the area of composite materials and specifically in the development, properties and manufacturing technologies of metal foams (mainly AL). Metal foams have extensive applications in, inter-alia, the automotive, marine and aerospace industries as they combine light weight and high strength and can absorb energy and noise.  Mr. Papantoniou has published several peer-reviewed articles in international scientific journals and conference proceedings.

Peltekis Apostolos

Apostolos Peltekis holds a BSc in Psychology, an MSc in Cognitive Psychology from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and an MSc in Clinical Psychology from Leiden University. He is a certified therapist in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy from the Greek Association of Behavioral Research and Therapy in Thessaloniki and a member of the EABCT. He is also a certified adult trainer. Since 2015, he has been working at “Centre of Life”, a non government organization, providing psychological support to people living with HIV/AIDS. Stampoulis Konstantinos

Konstantinos Stampoulis, received his Diploma Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Polytechnic School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh), has completed the MSc Machine Design in Cranfield University in 1996 as well as the MSc Advanced Computer & Telecommunication Systems in AUTh in 2010. He has worked in the field of maintenance of electro-mechanical equipment, design and production of specialized machine components, energy conservation in buildings and machinery, public works supervision, project management of large scale national projects, various IT projects as well as in the field of adult education as an accredited lecturer. Stellatos Evangelos

He holds an MA in Information Systems and Programming from the Greek Open University. He graduated from the Physics department at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and since 1994 he has a rich teaching experience at various levels of education. His recent research interests are focused on the application of web mining techniques in news portal data. He deals with the writing of educational material in e-learning programs in the field of Web Development and Web Design. Artemis Stratopoulou is currently a PhD Candidate in Economics at Athens University of Economics and Business. Prior to her doctoral studies, Artemis received an Msc in International Economics and Finance and a BA from the Department of International and European Economic studies at Athens University of Economics and Business. Along with her PhD studies, she is a Teaching Assistant in International Economics and Macroeconomics at the undergraduate level. Moreover, she briefly worked as a Research Assistant to the Research Funding Program ARISTEIA II-Microeconomic and Macroeconomic Determinants of Current Account Adjustment: The Case of Greece. Her main research interests lie in the areas of Empirical Macroeconomics and International Economics and Finance.

Stratoura Maria

Maria Stratoura is a Civil Engineer, a graduate of the School of Civil Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) and holder of two master’s degrees in “Analysis and Design of Earthquake Resistant Structures” and in “Materials Science and Technology”, both from NTUA. Her professional experience includes structural design, and construction site supervision and management. She is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Patras School of Engineering in collaboration with NTUA. Her research interests lie on the experimental investigation of lightweight reinforced concrete structures and aims to improve their structural behaviour and durability. Her research work has been published in academic journals and presented at national and international conferences. Maria Stratoura is a member of the Scientific and Technical Chamber of Cyprus (ETEK) and the Technical Chamber of Greece (TEE).

Dr. Stylianou Tasos

Computer Scientist, Researcher

Stylianou Tasos received his Doctorate Degree (Ph.D.) from the Department of Applied Informatics at the University of Macedonia (UoM) in Greece. He also holds an MSc from the Department of Applied informatics - “Business informatics” – and an MS in “Economic Science” - Applied Economics and Finance - from the Department of Economics of the University of Macedonia. His bachelor degree is in “Applied informatics” from Macedonia University of Thessaloniki. He has many scientific articles published in international journals and he has presented his work at a number of international academic conferences and proceedings. In addition he is a reviewer in international journals and his current and past teaching activity comprises the deliverance of a wide range of teaching modules.

Dr. Stylianoudaki Persefoni

Head of School of Computing

Dr. Persefoni Stylianoudaki is the Head of the School of Computing and Programme Leader of the BSc and MSc Programmes. She has completed her BSc in Computer Science and MSc in Designing Worldwide Interactive Systems in the UK, as well as her PhD in digital games. She has worked for various UK Higher Education Institutions for the last twenty years including Warwick and Open University. Dr Stylianoudaki has taught campus based and distance learning programmes with students based in the UK and across the globe. She is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and certified Project Manager in Agile and PRINCE2 methodologies. She is/was involved with various UK, European and International projects and collaborations and she is a reviewer of various international conferences as well as a reviewer of a scientific journal. Her research interests include digital games, eLearning combined with educational technologies and tools as well as academic staff development.

Symeonidis Gerasimos

Gerasimos Simeonidis is a BSc Business Administration holder from ATEI ATHENS and an MSc Sports Management and the Business of Football from Birkbeck, University of London receiving merit with specialization in football corporate governance. Additionally, he has completed successfully numerous on-line professional and academic certificates. He is member of Hellenic Scientific Association of Sport & Recreation Management (HSASMR), responsible for sponsorship agreements. Creating ad-hoc attractive sponsorship packages for various sports organizations packages as well as conducting detailed research on Sports Sponsorships ROI is his main professionally activity. He is also an associate of Greek Men’s Professionally Volleyball League regarding its commercial development and during the past he was involved in selling media rights for sporting events worldwide.

Theodorakopoulos Andreas

Andreas Theodorakopoulos holds a BSc in Business Administration from the Athens University of Economics and Business and an MBA from Kingston University. He has been working for more than 20 years in the fields of Education, Communication, Advertising and Media as executive and consultant. He is a member of the Greek Institute of Sales. He has published many articles in journals and newspapers and has participated as speaker in many congresses. Teaches: Marketing, Communications.

Thomas Georgios

Psychologist

George Thomas holds a BSc in Psychology and an MSc in Psychology from the University of Northumbria at Newcastle and Essex University (Great Britain), respectively. He worked for several years as a psychologist at the Psychiatric Hospital of Attica (PS.H.A.) and 414 SNEN Psychiatric Hospital. He is a trainer in educational seminars cooperating with private and public bodies working in the field of mental health (KYPEKO, KETHI, COSMOANELIXIS). He also works privately as a psychotherapist. Research interests: social psychology, sex and human evolution, drugs and addictions, behavioural compliance and safety.

Dr. Triantafyllaki Angeliki

Programme Leader MA Education (Leadership & Management / TESOL) & ΜΑ Inclusion and SEND

Dr. Angeliki Triantafyllaki is Programme Leader for postgraduate programmes at the School of Education: MA Education (Leadership and Management / TESOL) & ΜΑ Inclusion and SEND. She is a graduate of the University of Cambridge (PhD, MPhil) and the Department of Philosophy, Psychology and Pedagogy (BA) of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. For the past twelve years she has worked as a researcher and lecturer in Universities in Greece and abroad and has participated in a series of seminars and professional development courses in child psychology, family health, as well as special educational needs, with placements in a range of SEND units in Athens. She has taken part in international and national research programmes and was awarded by the Greek State Scholarship Foundation and the UK British Academy for her postdoctoral research. Research Interests: Arts in Education, online teaching and learning, inclusive education and differentiated teaching, research methodologies, new technologies, adult education and lifelong learning.

Tsachali Marilia

BA, MA, PhDc – Psychologist, Psychotherapist

Marilia Tsachali is a self-employed psychologist, certified in systems counselling and psychotherapy. She holds a BSc in Psychology from Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences and a MSc in Human Resources Management from Athens University of Economics and Business. She is a PhD candidate in the field of Organizational Psychology in Athens University of Economics and Business. Her academic interests focus on employee training, development, and well-being. She has several years of hands on experience in the HR sector. In 2016 she made a career transition to the sector of counselling and psychotherapy. She is a certified member of the Association for Greek Psychologists (SEPS) and specialized in Systemic Psychotherapy. In her private practice, she works with adult individuals, couples, and groups.

Tserpeli Evangelia

Psychologist tutor, Researcher, PhDc.

Tsikerdis Dimitris

Dimitris Tsikerdis has graduated from the Informatics Department of the University of Piraeus and holds a postgraduate degree in Advanced Information Systems with Specialization in Decision Support Systems from the same university. He also holds a postgraduate degree in Techno – Economic Systems (MBA) from the National Technical University of Athens. He has worked in the private sector as Business Analyst/Programmer in Document/Content Management Systems (DMS/CMS) and Business Process Management Systems (BPM). At the same time he was an active certified trainer in Vocational Education with specialization in Databases and Programming Languages. Presently he works as an Information Systems Administrator in an Institution supervised by the Ministry of Labour and Social Solidarity.

Tsiligkiri Christina

Christina Tsiligkiri is general director and curator of the amateur Olympiacos, with extensive experience in sports management, marketing, public relations and organisation of major sporting events. She has a Master in Sports Management from the University of Peloponnese. Teaches: sports marketing.

Tsolakis Efstratios

A Mechanical engineer with more than four years of industrial experience on technically challenging projects, is a member of the Machine Design Laboratory at NTUA where he is currently completing his doctoral dissertation. He has worked in the Quality Assurance/Quality Control team and Superconductive Busbar team of the Large Magnets Facility at CERN, the European Organization for Nuclear Research in Geneva. His work involves the analysis and design of industrial products, power transmission systems and infrastructure. He has extensive knowledge of structural, fluid-thermal, and dynamic-vibration engineering. He teaches at the MSc and MEng(HONS) programmes in Mechanical Engineering and Design at Mediterranean College.

Tsolis Nikos

IT Specialist at General Hospital Of Athens "G. Gennimatas"

Nikolaos Tsolis is a graduate from the Computing School, Greek Open University (2006). He holds an MSc in Health Management, from the Greek Open University and his thesis was on «Relating computing attitude with computing systems development: The case of the General Hospital of Athens “Georgios Gennimatas” (2013)» He is a PhD candidate in the Computing Department of University of Piraeus  researching on Digital Health. He has many years of professional experience in the area of Health, as he has taken over very important responsibilities during his career in Computing Project Management in Health. Since January 2015, he holds a position as an executive in Managing Digital Health Services, Department of Digital Health Services, Ministry of Health. Since 2011, he is also responsible for protecting personal data in Integrated Computing Systems in Health. Mr. Tsolis has also been a Consultant to the undersecretary of Minister of Health in Matters of Computing Technology, Telecommunications & Internet (June 2014-January 2015) and a co-operator of the Minister of Health in Matters of Computing Technology, Telecommunications & Internet (September 2013-June 2014). He speaks English & French. Teaches: Quality in Health.

Tzouramani Olga

Psychologist – Criminologist

Olga Tzouramani is a Psychologist-Criminologist, holding an MSc in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy, an MSc in Criminology, and is a Ph.D(c) in the school of Criminology at the University of Nicosia (Cyprus). She has teaching experience at the University of Nicosia, on the subject “Sexual and Violent Crimes” as part of the curriculum for the MSc program in Criminology. She has also practical experience with substance abusing individuals at a rehabilitation center as well as with patients who had experienced different types of traumas, such as sexual abuse.

Vardikou Chrysopigi

Chrysopigi is an economist and marketing consultant. She has gained her Bachelor degree in Economics and her MBA degree from the University of Macedonia She practices, teach & speak about marketing, digital marketing & business. She is also a multilingual marketing manager, experienced in B2C & B2B marketing. Having worked with global automotive brands, she knows exactly how to align marketing activities with strategy.  

Dr. Vasilopoulou Maroula

Dr. Maroula Vasilopoulou was born in 1984 in Athens. In 2011 she completed her Master degree at Biology of Exercise in Department of Physical Education and Sports Science with specialisation in Ergophysiology, while in 2016 she completed her PhD studies at the same department with excellent grade. Her professional career began in 2006 as Clinical Exercise Physiologist in pulmonary rehabilitation programmes for patients with chronic diseases. She has participated in several clinical research studies in patients with chronic diseases and athletes. She also has publications in international journals in the field of Ergophysiology, pulmonary rehabilitation, tele-rehabilitation and chronic care as well as numerous presentations in international conferences, where she has been awarded. Teaches: “Physiotherapy Management I&II: Cardiorespiratory theme”.

Vogkas Vasilis

Mr. Vasilis Vogkas has completed his BSc in Information Systems in the Computer Science of University of Calabria in Italy at 1997 and continued for his second undergraduate title BEng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering in University of Glamorgan in the U.K at 2000.  He continued with scholarship his MSc in Computer Networks and Distributed Systems in Trinity College of Dublin in Ireland in which he completed in 2001. After that he continued with one more Master Degree in Business Administration (MBA) in the University of Glamorgan which he completed in 2002. He has worked in INTEL Corporation as a Network Engineer and other IT companies in the area. Currently he is working as a Technical Manager in JinxSoft Company which specializes in programming applications and games for Smartphones. He has participated in various Research projects, funded by the European Union, at the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB). His research interests include programming of computer applications and mobile devices as well Relational Database Administration.

Dr. Vrasida Maria

Holder of a PhD in Coastal Cities Development for Tourism from the University of Thessaly, an MA in Town and Regional Planning and a Degree in Architecture from the University of Liverpool. The spatial aspect in the development of tourism and the integrated tourism and cultural development planning are major research interests.  She has published several original research papers and has participated in international conferences. She has worked as a lecturer in undergraduate and postgraduate courses teaching destination planning, tourism development and tourism and heritage management at Greek Universities and Technical Education Institutes. She has participated in the teams formulating strategic development and management plans for tourism for a number of destinations (Magnesia, Venice, Lebanon etc.). 

Yannoulakis Manos

Manos Yannoulakis has studied hospitality and tourism at the Higher Hotel Institute in Cyprus and the University of Luton. Since 2001 he has worked in different hotels in Greece in different departments and managerial positions (Grand Resort Lagonisi, King George Palace, Porto Rio Hotel and Casino, Civitel Hotels and Resorts et al.) He is a member of the American Hotel and Motel Association and the Dratte. Teaches: Food and Beverage management.

Zafiridis Menelaos

Menelaos Zafiridis is a graduate of the department of Mechanical Engineering of the Technical School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, specializing in Aeronautics and Engines. He holds an MSc degree in Powertrain Engineering from the École Nationale Supérieure du Pétrole et des Moteurs, France. His scientific interests and activities are mainly focused on exhaust after- treatment  technologies of internal combustion engines.

Zafiriou Pantelis

Mr. Zafiriou Pantelis has thirty years of international experience in the field of tourism and related education. After a long career in Hospitality, Tourism, Conferences and Events in the United States of America, he began his academic career by teaching Hospitality and Tourism professions at the Clark County Skills Center in collaboration with Clark College in Washington State (2002-2006) He returned to Greece in 2007 where he served as Course Tutor for the Event and Convention Management program, as well as a Lecturer in Hotel and Restaurant Management at Alpine Center and City Unity College. In 2014 he started working with the SWISSAM Hospitality Business School in St. Petersburg, Russia, as Lecturer in Postgraduate Programs and Head of Education until August 2016 His collaboration with the Μediterranean College began in February 2018.

Ο Δρ. Κωνσταντίνος Τσιούτας έχει μεγάλη διδακτική εμπειρία στους τομείς της ηλεκτρονικής, της πληροφορικής, των δικτύων και της μουσικής τεχνολογίας. Έχει διδάξει στο τμήμα Λαϊκής και Παραδοσιακής Μουσικής του πρώην ΤΕΙ Ηπείρου τα μαθήματα της Μουσικής Τεχνολογίας και Ηχοληψίας ενώ διδάσκει Εφαρμοσμένη Πληροφορική στα μεταπτυχιακά του Αειφορικού Σχεδιασμού του τμήματος Εσωτερικής Αρχιτεκτονικής του Πανεπιστημίου Δυτικής Αττικής και στο Μεταπτυχιακό Ψηφιακές Μορφές Τέχνης στη Σύγχρονη Εποχή του τμήματος Τεχνών Ήχου και Εικόνας του Ιονίου Πανεπιστημίου.  Παράλληλα είναι μεταδιδακτορικός ερευνητής στο Εργαστήριο Κινητών και Πολυμέσων του Τμήματος Επιστήμης Υπολογιστών του Οικονομικού Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών.
